সিআরবির ‘রান দ্য সিটি’ ম্যারাথনে শত শত প্রতিযোগীকে পেছনে ফেলে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হওয়ার গৌরব (প্রথম স্থান) অর্জন করলেন ডা. নওরীন জাহান রাহি।
শুক্রবার (৫ জুন) সকালে অনুষ্ঠিত এ প্রতিযোগিতায় শত শত নারী ও পুরুষ দৌড়বিদ অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
আয়োজকদের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, সুস্থ জীবনধারা ও ক্রীড়া সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে আয়োজিত এই ম্যারাথনে বিভিন্ন বয়সী প্রতিযোগীরা অংশ নেন। তীব্র প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতাপূর্ণ এই প্রতিযোগিতায় অসাধারণ নৈপুণ্য, ধৈর্য ও শারীরিক সক্ষমতার পরিচয় দিয়ে ডা. নওরীন জাহান রাহি প্রথম স্থান অর্জন করেন।
প্রতিযোগিতা শেষে আয়োজকদের পক্ষ থেকে বিজয়ীদের হাতে ট্রফি, সনদপত্র ও পুরস্কার তুলে দেওয়া হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত অতিথিরা বিজয়ীদের অভিনন্দন জানিয়ে তাদের ভবিষ্যৎ সাফল্য কামনা করেন।
বিজয়ীর পরিবার জানায়, এই অর্জন তাদের জন্য অত্যন্ত গর্ব ও আনন্দের। নিয়মিত অনুশীলন, অধ্যবসায় এবং আত্মবিশ্বাসের ফলেই এ সাফল্য সম্ভব হয়েছে বলে তারা মনে করেন।
ক্রীড়াপ্রেমীরা মনে করছেন, তরুণ প্রজন্মের মধ্যে ক্রীড়াচর্চা ও স্বাস্থ্য সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধিতে এ ধরনের আয়োজন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখছে। একই সঙ্গে এমন সাফল্য নতুন প্রজন্মকে খেলাধুলায় আরও উৎসাহিত করবে।

Dr. Nourin Jahan Rahi has achieved the honor of becoming the champion (first place) by outperforming hundreds of competitors in the “Run the City” marathon held at CRB in Chattogram.

The competition took place on Friday morning (June 5), where hundreds of male and female runners participated.

According to the organizers, the marathon was arranged to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness about sports and physical fitness. Participants from various age groups took part in the event. In this highly competitive race, Dr. Nourin Jahan Rahi demonstrated outstanding skill, endurance, and physical capability to secure the first position.

At the end of the competition, organizers presented trophies, certificates, and prizes to the winners. Guests present at the ceremony congratulated the champions and wished them continued success in the future.

The winner’s family expressed immense pride and joy over the achievement, stating that consistent practice, dedication, and self-confidence made this success possible.

Sports enthusiasts believe that such events play an important role in encouraging sports culture and promoting health awareness among the younger generation. They also noted that such achievements will further inspire youth to engage more in sports.

Dr. Nourin Jahan Rahi is currently working as a surgeon at United Hospital, Dhaka.

She also serves as the Secretary General of CJA Bangladesh Chapter and is the Editor and Publisher of The Daily People’s View. She is the only daughter of international media personality Osman Gani Mansur, a journalist, organizer, educationist, and social worker widely recognized at home and abroad.

Osman Gani Mansur is known for his long-standing contributions to journalism, education, and humanitarian activities, which have established him in a respected position in society.
